Regency Park Estate is owned and operated by two local business owners who have lived in Rotorua for some 30 years each.

Mr Dennis Walsh has been involved in the engineering and tourism industry. Ms Catherine Waites has been involved in natural health stores for 25 years.

When fully completed, Regency Park Estate will be a pleasant landscaped village within a well established suburban are of Owhata opposite the Te Ngae shopping centre.

A wide range of community facilities will be included in the village.

Each home in the village will have two bedrooms.

The owners of Regency Park Estate believe that today's buyer is looking for an environment which offers a lot to do, as well as, of course, offering the security of extra care should it be required.

The village is designed for people who have simply reached the stage in life where they feel they could enjoy their leisure time more if they did not have to fit it around maintaining a home.

Think of the excitement of enjoying a brand new lifestyle where cleaning the guttering, mending the drain pipe, and keeping up with the weeds in the garden can all be taken care of for you.

The homes at Regency Park Estate are designed for people who want the security, activities, and companionship offered by a village atmosphere, but who wnat to retain as much independence as possible.

They want their own completely self-contained home, and are happy to cook and clean for themselves most of the time, or to pay for these things to be done for them, the same way they would in their own home.

The big difference between a home in Regency Park Estate and the family home is that there are no maintenace worries.

Owners of a home in Regency Park Estate need only maintain the inside of their home. The outside of the building is looked after by the village staff, and is paid for out of the village fee – the same fee that is paid by everybody who buys a home, or unit, which is part of a stratum title complex anywhere.

Al homes at Regency Park Estate are brought on a stratum freehold title. This means that your home at Regency Park Estate is as secure as the ownership of your family home – you are free to sell if you wish (as long as the new owner can meet the same entrance criteria that you met) and the capital gain, less the Deferred Management Fee, and land agents fees, is yours to keep or pass on to your children.
